About Sharp Week

A free NFL pick'em pool against the spread, for private leagues with friends.

What is Sharp Week?

Sharp Week is a weekly NFL pick'em game played against the spread. You and your friends join a private league, pick teams each week, and compete on weekly and season-long standings. Scores update live while the games are on.

How it works

Scoring

Most pick'em pools give you one point for a correct pick. Sharp Week scores how much you covered by: a pick is worth the spread plus your team's final margin.

Pushes and canceled games score 0. Each pick you miss costs a penalty set by your league.

FAQ

Is Sharp Week free?

Yes. Sharp Week is free to play. It doesn't take bets, hold money, or pay out prizes. Some leagues run their own side pots among friends, but that happens outside Sharp Week.

How is a pick scored?

A pick scores the spread plus your team's final margin. Take a team at +3.5 that loses by 1 and you score 2.5. Take a team at -7 that wins by 10 and you score 3. A pick that doesn't cover scores below zero.

What happens with pushes and canceled games?

A push, where the final margin lands exactly on the spread, scores 0. A canceled game also scores 0.

How many picks do I make each week?

Your league decides. League admins set the number of picks per week and the penalty for each pick you miss.

How do I join a league?

Sharp Week is invite-only. Request an invite code from the sign-in page, create your account, then join your league with the password your league admin gives you.
